New 2020 Tri Glides

CVO is damn Pretty but... $50k to start is also pretty damn stiff. No IS, no mechanical reverse, basically (from what I can tell) a super chromed out 2019 with the 117. I really wanted a good reason to trade up from my 2013 but not sure if it's really worth it or not for me. Might just add mechanical reverse to mine and ride it 'til the wheels fall off (no pun intended cuz I do torque the lug nuts to 100lbs) Or maybe look for a 2019 that is still sitting around somewhere. No clue at this point

Seeeriously a $50,000 CVO. Harley you crapped yourself again. Had my checkbook ready for a RoadGlide fairing and independent suspension. A blinged out 2019......nah, going to save my $$$$$$$.

HD get smart, your time is running out. Did you look around Strugis this year ? Trikes and 3 wheelers eveerywhere. Did you have to even recharge that electric "Wire" out at the Full Throttle. Boy the crowds around it were wild NOT.... I even made a comment as to just how long Sturgis/Black Hills Rally will be around. Unless they can put video games in those fairing monitors the snowflakes and millennials arent going to be coming out of Mommas basement to buy motorcycles.l

Just saying !!!!!

I fully expected the CVO TG to top $50gs. The fact that it is a bit below that makes me think that even the moco knew that price point would be a show stopper. I've sprung for five new CVOs and one pre-owned. Thank goodness I've choked on all the Kool Aid from the moco and can't stomach any more. Don't think I'll be putting down $$ for a 2020 CVO TG.

With the MoCo making major suspension changes last year, I didn't expect they would do it again.

In the write up, it stated it had a 19" front wheel & 18" rear wheels. I do like the look of them.

I, like others, am not impressed with the paint.

The good news is payments start at $688/monthly.

Harley has it all figured out........Sell less, Charge more for what you do sell, Lay off 800 workers...So you can show more profit to your investors on the ones you do sell..And if someone questions the layoffs, Blame it on President Trump's tariffs.... ...

Sounds like a good business plan to me....;)....

I'm going to say the vivid black will be the top seller, don't care for any of the other colors at all, now in the showroom they may look different but online those other colors suck big time, black is the fastest anyway LOL

All for now Trampas

With those low profile tires taking away most of the sidewall, the CVO is going to ride horribly harsh.

I was thinking the very same thing Kevin. Remember Billy Crystal's character Fernando on Saturday Night Live many years ago. One of his famous line was 'It is better to look good than to feel good.' And those low profile tires with the big wheels are looking good but doubt they'll feel very good on a bumpy road.

Actually I have low profile tires on my 13 21 in in front I run 24 lbs in the rears and 38 lbs in the front and the ride is fine. I do have the replacement shocks in the rear along with the lift kit.

I have on my Slingshot 255/35/20in on the rear, and the front 225/45/18in....

And they can be quite brutal ......But i added adjustable coilover shocks and run 22psi in the front and 28psi on the rear....That helps but still less than ideal.....

What i would like to know is,who in gods green earth is the guy who names the colors. River Rock Gray is brown not gray, they have one at the local shop. And a vent on the primary is now standard.

In advertising terms its called eye wash.. Call a color Orange and maybe someone will buy it.....Call it Scorching Orange, Not only will people buy it , The'll also brag about buying it....
